Facebook has often attracted heat for its controversial “real-name” policy, which required the users to use their real name on the service. Following letters and complaints from several human rights organizations, that will finally be amended but you better come up with a strong reason.
From now on, people who would rather go under an alias would be asked a series of questions detailing the reason behind that choice, the context, and the lot. This will allow Facebook to understand the motive better and for help in further changes in the future.
The second change which we will see is in the process of reporting; from now on if you are reporting a profile, you’ll have to go slightly more into the details of that so it is made sure that anyone innocent is not locked out of their accounts.

Facebook also doesn’t now require you to use government IDs or other legal documents to confirm your identity. All of these changes are expected to come in December.
